Cheers, it’s finally time to learn how to do your makeup!!

I’m so excited to share my knowledge with you during our one on one lesson! Here are a few tips and reminers for you to help you prep for your appointment with me. Of course, feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about anything at all!

 

Things to bring

  1. Your makeup bag

    You can bring everything, or just bring your go to items. We will be going through your products to see what you’re currently using is helping or not doing much for you.

  2. Your skincare items

    A lot of what to do with amazing makeup is the prep work needed to do beforehand. So this will give me the best idea of what you’re doing for your “foundation” before makeup

  3. A photo of yourself with day to day makeup

    Since you’ll be arriving with no makeup, I would like to see a photo of yourself with your everyday makeup look

  4. A photo of yourself with going out makeup

  5. Some photos of makeup that you really love

    So these will be inspiration photos of just makeup looks you really like and would like to learn how to do on yourself. Please limit these to 4, have a mix of everyday makeup and going out makeup!

 

What to expect

  • Please arrive with no makeup on. The suite is inside a large office building. So park in the parking lot and come right up when you arrive

  • Once arrived and settled in, we will go through your skin care items first then makeup items.

  • We will decide if we will need to make a run to Ulta/Sephora to grab a few items to round out your routine (please note that you will be in charge of paying for new products yourself)

  • We will come back and start out the lesson. I like to personally do the “show and tell” method of teaching. So I will be demonstrating on one side and you will do the other side while I watch.

general NOTES

  • The most important thing is to please ask questions if you are getting confused about something. While I always try to remember that I understand the terms / actions because it is my job, it doesn’t mean that you will understand. I want you to get the most out of our appointment together so please ask all the questions!!

  • THERE ARE NO DUMB QUESTIONS!!!!

  • Allow about 2 hours for your appointment.

  • Have fun!

While I understand there’s a lot of things we would like to “change” about ourselves, my goal for you during our appointment is to not change how you look -it is to make sure you feel beautiful and confident. Makeup is such a powerful tool and it can really be so magical. But I’m here to teach you how to enhance your natural beauty according to how your eyes, face, and lips is naturally shaped -not to show you how to alter your natural look.
